1.Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using COPA's Intelligence platforms (the “Services”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you access the Services on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
2.Scope of Services
COPA provides data analytics, monitoring systems, AI-enabled tools, and decision-support solutions. The Services are intended solely for informational and situational awareness purposes.
The Services do not constitute legal, financial, investment, or other professional advice and should not be relied upon as a substitute for independent professional judgment, including advice from qualified advisors.
COPA reserves the right to modify, enhance, suspend, or discontinue aspects of the Services at its discretion.
3.Privacy Policy and Data Protection
COPA collects and processes only the data reasonably necessary to deliver, maintain, and improve the Services. Processing is limited to specified, legitimate business purposes and conducted in accordance with applicable data protection and privacy laws.
Where required, client data is processed under written agreements defining the scope of processing, retention periods, confidentiality obligations, and applicable security standards.
For inquiries regarding data handling practices or the exercise of applicable privacy rights, please contact: info@copa.team.
4.Data Governance and Security
All solutions are designed with privacy, security, and regulatory compliance as core requirements. Data sovereignty is central to COPA's approach, ensuring clients retain control over where their data resides and how it is accessed.
Client information remains under the client's control at all times. COPA does not sell client data and does not access, use, disclose, or process confidential information except as expressly permitted under applicable contracts and agreements.
5.Responsible AI and Methodology
All insights generated through the Services are evidence-linked, auditable, and traceable to their underlying source materials.
COPA combines specialized AI models, including models optimized for complex and low-resource languages, with expert human oversight. Data scientists and political analysts validate methodologies, review outputs, and continuously refine indicators to ensure results remain rigorous, explainable, and appropriate for decision-support.
AI systems are deployed in a responsible, transparent, and accountable manner, consistent with applicable laws, regulatory requirements, and governance standards across relevant jurisdictions.
6.Disclaimers
The information and insights provided through the Services are derived from official sources, publicly available materials, and/or data supplied by clients. Notwithstanding COPA's use of commercially reasonable measures to promote accuracy, completeness, and timeliness, COPA makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, or ongoing currency of such information.
Political, regulatory, and market conditions may change without notice. Update frequency and data refresh practices vary by data type, source availability, and system configuration.
The Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, COPA disclaims all implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
7.User Responsibilities
Users agree to use the Services in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Users shall not misuse the Services, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with system integrity, reverse engineer proprietary components, or use the Services for unlawful purposes.
Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of account credentials and for activities conducted under their accounts.
8.Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights in the Services, including software, methodologies, models, visualizations, and proprietary frameworks (excluding client-provided data), remain the exclusive property of COPA or its licensors.
Subject to applicable agreements, COPA grants a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Services for internal business purposes.
9.Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, COPA shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or exemplary damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.
COPA's aggregate liability arising out of or related to the Services shall not exceed the fees paid by the client in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
10.Termination
COPA may suspend or terminate access to the Services in the event of breach of these Terms or misuse of the Services. Upon termination, access rights cease immediately.
11.Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws specified in the applicable service agreement or, if none is specified, the laws of COPA's principal operating jurisdiction.
12.Amendments
COPA may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
